Protect Your Investment: The Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Your Rugged Kawasaki Mule Pro™ Seat Covers

RTV owners may be managing a sprawling Texas ranch, navigating a heavy-duty construction site, taking care of daily chores around the property, or any of a dozen other possibilities. No matter what, your Kawasaki ATV is built to handle the workload. It faces mud, dust, brutal sun, and constant wear and tear day in and day out. While the engine and chassis are designed to take a beating, your factory seats are often the first things to show signs of age, cracking, and tearing under pressure.

At Black Mountain All Terrain, we understand that protecting your utility vehicle is protecting your investment. That is why we sell these premium, custom-fit Kawasaki Mule Pro seat covers. Engineered for maximum durability and built to survive the toughest environments, these covers bring military-grade strength directly to your machine.

To help you get a flawless, wrinkle-free fit right in your own garage, Kyle from Black Mountain All Terrain has put together a comprehensive, step-by-step installation video. Below, we break down exactly what you will learn from the video and how you can transform your RTV’s interior in just a few minutes with minimal hand tools.

Watch the Walkthrough: Kawasaki Mule Pro™ Seat Cover Installation

In our latest video guide, we use a Kawasaki Pro FX/DX to demonstrate the full installation process. However, if you own an FXT/DXT you're in luck, because the front seats across all of these full-size models are completely identical, meaning this step-by-step walkthrough will work perfectly for you, whichever vehicle you have.

What You'll Learn: A Step-by-Step Breakdown

The video takes all the guesswork out of the installation process, dividing the project into quick, manageable sections:

1. Mastering the Front Cushion Set Up

The front seat's installation is designed to be straightforward and requires minimal tools. You will learn how to:

  • Properly remove the seat cushion from the mount.

  • Firmly position the heavy-duty, military-grade zippers at the rear of the seat cushion.

  • Feed the Velcro strap into the holes of the frame and secure tightly.

  • Tighten the cushion with provided pull cord securely.

  • Set the cushion back on to the seat mount,

2. Installing the Backrest

For the backseat piece of the front cabin, you will need no tools. The video guides you through:

  • Sliding the seat belts away.

  • Fitting the seat cover over the backrest, lining it up with the support bars, and keeping it under the center seat belt

  • Zipping the 2 bottom zipper tracks securely.

The Black Mountain All Terrain Difference

Every single component, track, zipper, and piece of fabric that goes into our utility vehicle seat covers is 100% made in the United States. Better yet, they are proudly stitched together by American citizens right here in the great state of Texas. We stand by our work so completely that all of our seat covers come backed by a Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.

Because our covers are designed for a snug, secure fit, we always remind our customers: please do not alter or cut your seat cover to make it fit. If you ever run into a tight spot during your installation, skip the scissors and give our team a call. We are always ready to help.
